Terror Squad rapper Remy Ma will soon end her prison sentence for shooting a woman in 2007.
According to Vlad TV, Remy's husband, rapper Papoose, recently told a crowd at a concert in Allentown, Pennsylvania that Remy will be released from prison in July. Papoose then led the audience in a "free Remy" chant.
After being convicted of assault and illegal weapons possession in 2008, Remy was sentenced to eight years in prison. She was accused of shooting a woman in the stomach because the woman had allegedly stolen $3,000 from her.
Remy Ma is perhaps best known for her contribution to the Terror Squad hit "Lean Back," which also featured Fat Joe.
