Waka Flocka Flame is taking a stand against gun violence with an upcoming show in Chicago. The rapper is joining forces with Wallace "Gator" Bradley and his United In Peace, Inc. to host the anti-violence concert.
While the venue has yet to be disclosed, the show is slated to take place during the first week of June. In a statement, Waka points out that the only way to stop "senseless acts of violence" is to start acknowledging them. All proceeds from the concert will go to United In Peace, Inc. The group works with formerly incarcerated people to help them adjust to life outside of prison.
Waka Flocka is currently at work on his third studio album Flockaveli 2. The follow-up to his 2012 album Triple F Life: Fans, Friends & Family is expected to hit stores this fall.
